Interview with fictional graffiti artist “Alexander”

Simply known as “Alexander”, the reclusive graffiti artist has been producing large scale works globally for over 30 years, Alexander has given a rare interview with Alex Barrington of Art Biker Monthly at her largest work to date on over 6000sq ft, produced between 1987 to 1999. Which is now one of London’s major Landmarks for both tourists and locals at South Bank Skate Park.

STEALING SOUTHBANK

Set on location at Tate Modern celebrated international artist “Michael Chindale” of Taiwan is interviewed by Alex Barrington for publication Art Biker Monthly, they discuss the artists’ motivation, shattered past and rise to her major exhibition commissioned by the Tate institute.

Film Synopsis:

Originally emerging as an Student Art Magazine; Art Biker monthly is a new publication for the exposure of new, existing and fictitious artists, curators and galleries operating internationally. Delivered as both print and digital editions, launching January 2018 featuring international Art extraordinaire Michael Chindale and recluse celebrity graffiti known as Alexander. The 20 minute interview and tour features Londons Southbank and National Portrait Gallery.

 

Goofs:

  • The Skateboarder in “Spray” was a real skater who had entered the scene backwards.

  • During the Tate Modern interview Alex Barrington’s make up was checked by on set make up artist but she failed to replace his eyebrow. This was found later on Michael’s shoe.

  • All of it was an inspirational parody production

Facts:

  • Alexander’s real name is unknown, but she is also unaware of this.

  • Alexander’s real age is also unknown, although she has been seen marching at 1970s peace rallies in London, Paris, Yarevan and Berlin.

  • Alexanders “Spray” youth art project has seen the rise of up and coming artists Banksy, Jim Carey and The Mist. She continues to inspire people everywhere.

  • During Stealing Tate, Michael refused to discuss her beginnings with the Icelandic fishing events which saw her rescued by one of her captors after which they disappeared, details are unknown after, but her captor/ saviour was last seen on New York’s Broadway Circuit as Donkey from Shrek.

  • When Michael Chindales Translator said “Hamburger” this was code for “I understand the complexities of the physical environment in relation to a modern happy childhood” but this was a past that Michael struggles with after the cancellation of The Moomins. Moomin Papa liked Hamburgers.

  • To date, nobody has seen or heard of Art Biker Monthly.

  • Before filming took place Alex Barrington forgot his wallet in the office and did not buy the film team coffee and cake as promised.

  • The Microphone during “Stealing Tate” failed to operate, the entire recording was lost and dubbed post production. Some or all of the interview may not have been said.
