Postcards From The Edge

Postcards From the Edge was a big challenge, art without boarders or mechanisms in place to give a direction and completely open script... bar 2. The work has to be within a 5x7 frame and the work has to be posted, as one would a postcard, with no safety net for protection we received a wide and diverse collection of work with a number finding this feature to be an excellent opportunity to create new work by collaborration between artists and truly utilising the postal system to become part of the art.

This exhibtion and project allows artists themselves to think slightly leftfield and having the opportunity to be free with the artistic direction.

The original vision for our partners at Rebellious Edge Projects and ourselves was to fill an artspace with an interlinked sea of visual chatter or a kind of "Pre-nternet Pinterest" representing the world of art and culture. People connecting through a shared or individual and unique vision.
